Poor internet connectivity causes most issues while streaming videos. Frequent pauses during videos, problems starting the LES MILLS On Demand app, error messages, or issues playing videos on your device generally indicates a slow or interrupted internet connection.

Thankfully, we have some methods below to resolve most connection issues. If you complete the steps we’ve outlined and you’re still having problems, we suggest you reach out to your internet provider. They should be able to determine if your connection and router are best set up to network with the devices on your home network.

  1. Test the internet connection speed on your home network
    1. From any web browser on your home network, go to a internet speed test site, such as www.speedtest.net (note that LES MILLS On Demand has no connection or relationship with speedtest.net or its services)
    2. Ensure your connection speed is at least 1.5MB/sec.
  2. Restart your home network
    1. Turn off the device you’re using to access LES MILLS On Demand
    2. Unplug your modem and router (if you have one) for at least a minute
    3. Plug your modem in again and wait until no new indicator lights come on
    4. Plug your router in again and wait until no new indicator lights come on
    5. Turn on your device and try streaming videos on LES MILLS On Demand again.
  3. For computers and connected TV devices, connect your device directly to your modem
    1. Turn off the device you’re using to access LES MILLS On Demand
    2. Unplug your modem for at least a minute
    3. Connect your modem with your device using an ethernet cable
    4. Plug your modem in again and wait until no new indicator lights come on
    5. Turn on your device and try streaming videos on LES MILLS On Demand again.

    • If LES MILLS On Demand is working correctly now: it’s likely your router is causing the issue.
    • If LES MILLS On Demand is still not working correctly: you should check with your internet provider to determine if the modem and their internet service is working properly.
  4. For mobile devices, try another internet connection
    1. Connect to another wifi network at a friend’s house or public access point
    2. Try streaming videos on LES MILLS On Demand again
    3. If LES MILLS On Demand is working correctly now: it’s likely your home network is causing the issue.
